Zync unveils its Z930 budget Android 4.0 ICS tablet
Zync
are making news with their recent Z930 tablet.
This gadget sports, among other things, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system. It was crafted by an Indian company called Zync Global Private Limited. And it’s a model that comes with a cheap price tag: it can be yours with only Rs 5,499.
The Z930 tablet is pre-installed with a good array of specifications. Which are the following: a 7″ capacitive display, a total of 800 x 480 pixels, the above mentioned Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS, a 0.3-megapixel cam on the gadget’s front, a 1.2GHz Cortex A8 CPU, a Mali 400 graphics processor, 512MB of RAM, a 3,600 mAh Li-ion battery, 4GB of internal memory and an external micro SD card slot (which helps the tablet expand its default memory up to 32GB). It should be mentioned that the operating system will be upgraded to the newest Android 4.1 Jelly Bean in no time at all. The battery of the Zync Z930 is capable, according to reports, of delivering 4-5 hours of backup.
The connectivity options you are offered with this handset are as follows: Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, 3G via USB dongle, one HDMI port and one micro USB port. If you want to look up maps and other info, you can use the device’s GPS system.
Ashish Garg, Director of Zync Global Private Limited, reported that this is a smartphone which appeals to people who want something that is not only cheap, but also good. As such, the company’s main plan is to offer a smartphone that can compete, in terms of quality, with other models made by different manufacturers.

The games and apps that Zync threw on their Z930 are varied and entertaining. The games category is made of titles such as Angry Birds. The list of applications includes names like Bollywood Gossips, Ibibo, Your Trading Expert, BigFlix and many more. Facebook hasn’t been forgotten: there is an app for it on this phone.
Ashish Garg also announced that his company has plans of creating other gadgets to rival what is now on the market. The regions he wants to see these products fly to first are Latin America, Africa and many more that will be announced soon. The manufacturer’s advantage is that the team behind it uses innovative technology and great prices.
