The pre-requisites you just discovered in the previous paragraph are all very important. So make sure you do what they tell you to. Only after you are done with them can you start updating your phone.

  1. Our tutorial begins with the first step that asks you to plug the Galaxy S2 to your laptop, then do this: go where you saved the two packages from the previous requirements and, after you find them, take them one by one to the SD card root of your smartphone and end this step by unplugging the I9100 to your notebook.
  2. Then make sure the phone is not turned on anymore, since you will need to boot it in this mode: Recovery.
  3. The road to the Recovery Mode begins and continues as shown here: press and hold, simultaneously, Volume Up and Home and, while you do this, power the phone on.
  4. [sc name=”banner-jos”]Next thing to do: opt for Factory Reset/Wipe Data and then select Wipe Cache Partition. Then be sure to choose Install zip from SD card. Move on by opting for the following: Choose zip from SD card.
