How to update your tablet to Android 4.1.2
- The tutorial that can upgrade your tablet should begin by you performing this: unzip the two zip files on your notebook. Odin tool v3.07.exe and then .tar.md5 files will be the tow main files you need to keep a watch on.
- Then power your tablet off and enter it in Download Mode by way of these guidelines: press and simultaneously hold Volume Down + Power, then watch out for the logo of the OS to appear; when it does, you need to press Volume Up.
- Now run the Odin as Admin on your laptop, then plug the P6210 to it. The Odin will tell you whether the gadget is plugged to your notebook the right way via “Added!!” and one of the ID:COM boxes turning yellow (or blue). But in case there is no indication of a successful connection, you should try again by either using another USB port or by flashing the USB drivers again.
- For the next part, you need to opt for “PDA“, then select an .md5 (or a .tar) file. Now make sure to tap “Phone” until you see a MODEM-named file and select it; then tap “CSC” and opt for a CSC-named file. After that it’s best to tap “PIT” and then opt for a .pit file.
- Move on by turning these boxes on: Auto Reboot, Re-partition (if you selected the .pit file) and F. Reset Time. After “Start” is tapped, the update firmware is going to begin its flashing stage. After the UBMH1 Android 4.1.2 official firmware is on your Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus GT-P6210, the tablet shall reboot in a matter of minutes.
- [sc name=”banner-jos”]After it has restarted, your gadget should have a “Pass” message on its display, so look for it and, after you spot it, you need to unplug the tablet from your notebook.
