Lenovo S720 Android 4.0 ICS: a smartphone for women

If you are a woman and want a smartphone made especially for you, here is some good news: Lenovo just launched their S720 for all you female readers out there living in China.

Besides landing another new phone called A660 in the country, Lenovo did not stop. The team there came with a second fresh model on the market. This one, though, is aimed specifically at women consumers.

The S720 LePhone is known as a women friendly smartphone. The list of specs that this device ships with has already been published on the manufacturer’s official site. Here they are: a 4.5″ qHD touchscreen, a MediaTek A5 dual core processor chipset, a 2MP camera (on the front), an 8MP camera (on the back), a 2,000 mAh battery, the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich OS and 4 GB of internal memory storage.

The design of the Lenovo S720 LePhone is very nice and we are sure it will appeal to women. It is very comfortable to hold, according to the company. Moreover, it is said that its performance is one of the best. For instance, the two cameras both have additional features which will make photos look good. The battery is reported to last throughout a day after a recharge. And the processor promises great speed, multitasking and other important qualities. The operating system may not be the 4.1 Jelly Bean one (yet), but it nonetheless is expected to put on a very good show on the whole. Meaning smooth and fast navigation, no lags and so on.

As for apps, this smartphone sports the famous Google Play Store. There you can find all sorts of entertaining apps that you can install on the S720 with ease. Some of them are even free.

To access the World Wide Web, this Android 4.0 ICS smartphone is complete with Wi-Fi capabilities. And there is also support for a microSD card. Which is great, considering this phone should not be as expensive as its rivals are.

But the Lenovo S720 LePhone is not the only smartphone targeted at women consumers. Samsung is following the trend by releasing their Galaxy S2 in a different color than the usual one. This new color is pink.

There is no official release date for the Lenovo S720 yet. But it will come out till the end of this year in China.
