HTC M4 leaked: a new Android 4.2.2 smartphone with UltraPixel camera
HTC seems to be working on a new smartphone according to rumors. Its name: M4.
Keeping in mind its strong rivals, HTC should have decided to come with a fresh creation. More specifically: leaks are talking about a smartphone. The first leaks surrounding this handset appeared this February. Back then, they talked about the design of an upcoming device from the manufacturer based in Taiwan. The leaks are now back in the picture and they’re bringing reinforcements. In other words: a list of rumored specifications of the M4.
Here they are: a 4.3″ IPS touchscreen, 720p of resolution, 341 ppi, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean, a dual-core 1.2 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 MSM8930 CPU, Wi-Fi (802.11 a/b/g/n), Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/GLONASS, 16 GB of internal memory, 1 GB of RAM, a 1.6-megapixel cam on the smartphone’s front and an UltraPixel cam on the back.
There is also a microSD card slot (which will support up to 32 GB). The user interface is HTC Sense 5.0. The battery is expected to be a 2,000 mAh Li-polymer unit.

Speaking of the photos that were leaked back in February this year: the new phone can be compared to the body of the company’s First model in terms of size. But, whereas that model features Facebook Home among its features, the rumored M4 won’t have this option. The HTC First is available on AT&T at a price of $99 (if you decide to sign a 2-year contract with them). Since the so-called M4 is said to belong to the same mid-range category as the First, many think that it will have around the same price.
Apart from not having an official price yet, the leaked HTC M4 doesn’t have an official release date, either. But, until this handset gets unveiled for the first time, we can look forward to, for now, the HTC First sporting Facebook Home and the HTC One.
