Toshiba announces WT310 Windows 8 Pro tablet aimed at Enterprise Users
Toshiba has a new gadget up for grabs once they release it officially and it will cater to the needs of business users.
The Japanese manufacturer has something new to be launched on the market: a tablet called WT310. According to Toshiba, the gadget is going to appeal to those consumers who are in the enterprise sector who are after a portable tablet.
First, let’s find out the kind of specifications that the device will feature: an 11.6-inch full HD screen with 1080p for resolution, an Intel Core Ivy Bridge processor (the manufacturer didn’t specify more on the subject), Windows 8 Pro (the 64-bit version) and an SSD drive. The touchscreen is, from what the manufacturer announced, anti-glare. Features-wise, the tablet will offer, among many others, a Digitizer pen with software that can recognize handwriting.
The WT310 has a steel metallic aspect. The dimensions of the gadget are 229 mm x 189 mm x 12.4mm and the weight is 825 g.

As for connectivity, you get one SD card slot, Bluetooth 4.0, 1 full size USB 3.0 port and many other options in-between. In case of security problems, the tablet has Trusted Platform Module (TPM v1.2), Intel anti-theft technology and so on.
One of the most appealing features of the Toshiba WT310 is its optional docking cradle which that is going to be offered soon. This one has ports which will make it easy to have a dedicated hard disk, a mouse and a keyboard connected to it.
The next Toshiba tablet to grace the shops after the manufacturer releases it in the second quarter of this year has no official price for now. Because Toshiba said that the WT310 is meant for enterprise users, many believe that its price will not be very affordable. Still, we will know more once the company showcases this gadget in the not so faraway future.
