Sony’s Honami and Togari smartphones with Leaked Specs
Sony seems to be ready to send two new smartphones on the market. Rumors about them have been present for quite a while now. They are known as Togari and Honami, with the former rumored to have a larger touchscreen compared to the latter. Which is where the info stopped.
Leaks are now starting to come about the version numbers and specifications that these phones would deliver. The Togari would seemingly be called C680X and the Honami would be named C670X. Chinese websites ePrice and Baidu are the sources of this leaks. VR-Zone is the third source.
The first of these sites announces that the Honami model will sport an IPS White Magic screen, a 2.3 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, a 2,700 to 3,000 mAh battery, Adreno 330 GPU, a 20-megapixel camera sensor with xenon and dual LED flash plus 2 GB of RAM. The smartphone should be made available worldwide in either August of September 2013, while China will see it in July on Unicom.
VR-Zone, another site, reports that this handset’s display would more likely be a Triluminous one; but, according to them, the cam will instead be a 16MP model. Other sources claim that the Honami is going to come with a 4.8-inch display sporting 1080p and 459 ppi; the camera is rumored to offer 13.1-megapixels.

A person who claims they work as tester for Sony Xperia gadgets has posted the following info about the Honami model on Baidu. He says that this device would boast a 5-inch 1080 screen, a 20MP megapixel camera and a new generation of Walkman audio chip. The poster continues by letting people know that the Honami is resistant to both water and dust and that this model would become available in Asia this July. According to him, the smartphone’s looks will beat those of Apple’s iPhone 5.
As for the Togari handset, the same person writes that it will have a 6.44-inch touchscreen with 1080p for resolution and 342 ppi. This model will also be able to withstand dust and water; its looks will probably be the same as how the Xperia Z is designed. The Togari is rumored to be the manufacturer’s first phablet. Japan is said to be the first country where this version will be made available in July this year.
Because all of the above is only a big rumor, we will let you know when things become official.
