Sony Xperia Go, Xperia P and Xperia E dual to feature Jelly Bean 4.1 this week
Sony announced, earlier today, that Android 4.1 Jelly Bean will start its journey on the company’s Xperia Go, Xperia E dual and Xperia P this week. Though all of these smartphones were launched last year, they had yet to receive an update to their current operating system. The process will not last for a couple of days, but for a couple of months depending on customer and market variants.
The recent news was delivered via Sony’s official website. According to the manufacturer, the new operating system version is going to come with new features that will improve the user experience on all three models alike.
The features will differ between each other. Among them, Battery Stamina model, which is going to improve battery life, and Sony media apps that will also receive upgrades. Movies, Album and also WALKMAN are expected to be more intuitive than before.
The Battery Stamina model has the great advantage of powering off those applications that consume a lot of power when the handset has its display turned off; when the user of a phone powers it back on, the new battery model will start the said apps up again.
