Installing process

  1. The first one: extract the file labeled Suproneclick.zip; then move it to the folder called Superoneclick.
  2. Up next is the second step: open Odin from a laptop via doing a double-click on the Odin3 v1.7 executable file, previously downloaded. Once you are done with this step, turn the player off.

Rooting process

To root the Galaxy Player 5.0 you have to take into account the steps below.

  1. First off, wait for the device to end its rebooting process. Once it is over, enable USB Debugging by going to Settings, then Applications, then Development and then, finally, USB Debugging. The latter should be ticked. If it isn’t, do it manually.
  2. Second step is the following: open the application called Superoneclick; you will find it in the Superoneclick folder on your laptop.
  3. For step 3 you have to choose the key known as Root. If the device reboots two or three times, don’t worry.
  4. Finally, in step 4 disconnect the Samsung Galaxy Player 5.0 from the PC. That marks the end of the installation of the ClockworkMod Recovery flash.
