How to Install KitKat 4.4.2 VPU1ANG3 on Galaxy S5 Active SM-G860P

There is many things to be said about updating your smartphone. One of them is that the Samsung SM-G860P will go through this procedure with help from official firmware. Step by step instructions

  1. Odin v3.09 and the are the packages that you must consider for the first step. They need to be downloaded on the laptop you currently use. The task that should come up next is this: unzip the two packages with WinRar.
  2. Your laptop should have this file launched on it: Odin v3.09.exe. Do that, then continue by starting the phone in Download Mode.
  3. The way to go through this step is shown now: press and hold Home, Power and Volume Down at the same time until you are displayed a boot message, which means that you need to press Volume Up. Your phone is now in the Download Mode.
