How to Install Jelly Bean 4.2.2 UBUANE2 on Galaxy Ace 3 LTE GT-S7275B

The Samsung S7275B is going to end up with as many novelties as possible when you’re done with our guide. Making this possible is the latest official firmware to come out for your device: Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean UBUANE2. If you want to update another model with it, we recommend using a different tutorial. The new tool only works for the model we’ve included in this post.

  • download USB drivers from this page on your laptop (they should be the ones which are compatible with your handset);
  • Windows has to be the only OS running on the notebook;
  • generate one or two backups to preserve the data inside your handset;
  • a full NANDroid backup should be created now.

Step by step instructions

You’re to start the guide by downloading several packages on your laptop.

  1. The for Argentina (file name: S7275BUBUANE2_S7275BANCANE2_ANC.zip) should be downloaded from its official location. Then there’s also Odin v3.09 which you’ll find on this page.
  2. The packages must then go through an unzipping phase. Extracting the Odin v3.09 will offer several files. Among them is this one: Odin v3.09.exe.
  3. Open the latter on your laptop. Your smartphone needs to end up in Download Mode. Perform this by pressing and holding Home, Power and Volume Down together, doing that until a boot message gets displayed, then pressing Volume Up when that message shows up.
  4. You can afterwards continue by plugging the phone to the laptop. Create this connection via the handset’s USB cable.
  5. Odin will, after a couple of minutes, signal the success of the plugging via a blue sign. So do this next: add the firmware file to AP / PDA. Move on by performing the following step: wait for some boxes to appear, then turn on two of them.
  6. These two have the following names: Auto Reboot and F. Reset Time. A third box whose name is Re-partition should be unchecked.
  7. Start the installation of the new firmware by clicking on this: “Start“. Wait a bit so that the flashing of the new UBUANE2 official firmware is done. This installation will take around 10-15 minutes to end.
  8. [sc name=”banner-jos”]Repeat the previous steps if things go wrong. If things go according to plan, a message in a green background should come up. Its name should be this: “Pass”. The handset is going to reboot very soon after the message pops up.
  9. It’s now safe to remove the USB cord. After the plugging is no longer active, you can tap, on your handset, the following: Settings. About Phone is the next option to activate. When done, allow yourself some time with your updated GT-S7275B.

The NANDroid backup file you had to create can be used to get the old ROM back. Unfortunately, the upgrade’s going to be revoked if you want that ROM restored.
