HTC One Will Not Be Available At Verizon Wireless
HTC One is not going to become available for Verizon Wireless.
If you’ve been patiently waiting for Verizon Wireless to feature HTC’s One smartphone, you’ll be disappointed by this news. It was recently revealed, via the official Twitter page of HTC USA, that this handset will not be available on the said carrier.
The manufacturer did announce that they are replacing this model with the one called Droid DNA. This will come as a blow to people who have been wanting to get a taste of a HTC One for Verizon Wireless. So far, the company did not say anything official on whether or not they plan on another variant of this smartphone for the respective carrier. So all we can do now is sit and wait and talk about the Droid DNA that’s offered instead of the One handset.
As far as specifications go, the Droid DNA doesn’t differ that much from what One has to offer. Still, there are minor differences.

The processor is still a Snapdragon 600 one (albeit a new one if we’re comparing with the kind of CPU the One boasts), the resolution of the touchscreen is 1080p full HD and the actual size of it is smaller if you compare it to the dimensions of the HTC One. The cam that it sports features the latest Ultrapixel technology.
The body is made of aluminum, which will protect it against serious damage. This model is a variant of HTC’s international J Butterfly.
And so, after a long wait that included, among others, various rumors and leaks after the HTC One was announced for the first time, the wait is now seemingly over. Not unless the company has plans of offering a re-branded version for Verizon Wireless. But that may not happen as quickly as we’d hope.
