Xiaomi unveils Mi2A and Mi2S Smartphones
Xiaomi returns in big style with two new smartphone models: Mi2A and Mi2S.
The Chinese manufacturer goes to show that being a relatively small name on the Asian market doesn’t mean you will never become famous. Already America and Europe are said to be targeted by Xiaomi in 2014. These big plans have been kicked into gear by the manufacturer’s newest smartphones dubbed Mi2A and Mi2S.
The former will cost 1,499 Yuan ($239) while the latter will be available for 1,999 Yuan ($319) for 16 GB and 2,299 Yuan ($367) for 32 GB. Both handsets fit in the high-end category and the affordable prices they have make them even more desirable by future buyers.
Now let’s concentrate on what each of these phones has to deliver in terms of specifications. The Mi2A boasts the following: a 4.5-inch display, 1280 x 720 pixels of resolution, an Adreno 320 graphics processor unit, a 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon CPU, 1 GB of RAM a 2,030 mAh battery, 16 GB of internal storage, two cameras (one a 2MP shooter and the other an 8MP) and Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to round things up.

According to the manufacturer, this phone is better than Samsung’s Galaxy S4 regarding synthetic benchmarks. Also, the Mi2S will be ready for sale in Hong Kong, China and Taiwan in the upcoming months.
The Mi2A will go on sale somewhere this month. Its sibling, the Mi2S, can be bought starting today if you go to the manufacturer’s official website.
