Rumor: Galaxy Note 3 5.9-inch Full HD Display to be released this September

Samsung’s Galaxy Note 3 does not have an official release date. But from what a recent rumor says, this smartphone slash tablet might be launched this September.

According to the same rumor which is said to come from some of Samsung’s suppliers, this device seems to be sporting a touchscreen measuring a whopping 5.9 inches and full HD 1080p resolution. Which is fair if we remember the 1,280 x 720 pixels sported by the Galaxy Note 2. The display is also rumored to arrive with a Super AMOLED touchscreen.

But what about other specifications for the upcoming Galaxy Note 3? From what the rumor has to say, the phablet should deliver a 13MP camera, Nature UX, an Exynos 5 Octa chipset, an octo-core CPU (out of which we might see 4 Cortex A7 cores running at 1.2 GHz plus 4 Cortex A15 cores running at 1.8GHz) and most likely Android 4.2.2 JB as its operating system. What the octa-core CPU might bring to the table includes better power and a superior battery compared to the Galaxy Note 2.

As for connectivity, we might see the following: Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, one microUSB port, an infrared port, 4G LTE and NFC.

So the above might be the specs and features of the Galaxy Note 3. But what could be its release date? Many are throwing around the month of September of this year. The reason: the phone’s manufacturer has had a habit, since 2011, of launching its phablets from the Galaxy Note line near the annual IFA Berlin event. Which happens on the 6th of September. And let’s not forget how Samsung released its Galaxy S3, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 2 at an event made especially for this. Which may happen this year, too.

Should nothing interfere in the meantime, we might have the luck of seeing the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 before the IFA Berlin fair. Maybe between the 1st and the 5th of September.
