AT&T branded Samsung Galaxy S4 officially announced
AT&T just announced they would offer a branded Samsung Galaxy S4.
According to their press release, AT&T has big plans. After Samsung announced their new Galaxy S4 earlier today, the carrier wanted to offer this much-anticipated smartphone on their list of fresh devices, too.
Since everyone is so invested in this new phone, let’s see what it offers. The Galaxy S4 has the following dimensions: 136.6 x 69.8 x 7.9 mm. Its weight is 130 g. The dimensions and the weight make it lighter, thinner and skinnier compared to what the Galaxy S3 had to offer. The colors that will be available for this model are (for now) these: white and black.
Let’s see what specs this device will sport: a 5″ Super AMOLED full HD touchscreen, 1,920 x 1,080 pixels, 441 ppi, either a 1.9 GHz quad-core Qualcomm or a 1.6 GHZ Exynos Octa-core processor, 2 GB of RAM, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and a 2,600 mAh battery. Internal storage includes 16, 32 and 64 GB and a microSD card slot.
There will be two cameras: one on the front sporting 2 megapixels and one on the rear with 13 megapixels. The cameras will offer all sorts of exciting features, like Dual Video Call mode, dual-video capture mode and so on.

As for connectivity, this handset will ship with Bluetooth 4.0 + LE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac support (besides the a/b/g/n option), NFC, an IR blaster and many more. You will also get to experience Smart gesture features.
If you like what you’ve read so far about the Samsung Galaxy S4, you can start saving up money to buy it. Even if there’s no official price tag for it. The end of April is when this smartphone will be launched worldwide. Other than AT&T, the device will be offered by every major national network in America and important names in Europe such as Orange, Cricket, Vodafone, Telefonica, Deutsche Telecom, Telia Sonera and many others that will be revealed later on.
