Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini set to be released in Germany

Germany is the first country in Europe that will get to experience the Samsung Galaxy S3 Mini.

This news was recently revealed during a press conference organized by the manufacturer. Whose JK Shin, mobile division head, said that the Galaxy S3 Mini will come to Germany very soon: tomorrow. The new smartphone is going to have a smaller body compared to the yet to be released iPad mini made by the company’s direct competitor Apple.

Speaking of which: Apple’s announced iPad mini is also creating the same anticipation as Samsung’s latest creation. The Galaxy S3 Mini and this gadget will once again be rivals in a never ending war.

The same JK Shin also reported that Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Mini will have a touchscreen of 4″ and it will not go directly to the entry-level category. It won’t go there at all, according to him. The type of display and the small form factor of this handset are sure to attract a lot of attention to it after it’s officially launched. Even Shin himself announced that they bet a lot of money on this display. He considers it among the biggest advantages of the new smartphone. He went on to say that the main plan is to make displays bigger, so they can turn into easy tools to read eBooks and the like.galaxy-s3-mini

Other specifications were not given out at the moment of the announcement. From what rumors talked about in recent weeks, it seems that the Galaxy S3 Mini is going to sport a camera full of 5MP and a resolution made of 800 x 480 pixels. The processor that will make the device run smoothly is rumored to be a dual-core one. Once the gadget is launched tomorrow, we will know more about its exact specifications and whatnot.

But then again, the iPhone 5 also has such a touchscreen. But it’s shape is longer than what the Galaxy S3 Mini looks like. Even many Apple aficionados were not happy with the length of its body. And Samsung users made fun of it via numerous comments and clips posted on YouTube and similar sites.

Another new creation that Shin talked about recently is a smartphone, too. Its name is Samsung Ativ S. From what he let out, the operating system that will be used by this handset is Microsoft’s Windows Phone 8. This device is going to be released this month or the next at the latest.

With so much to look forward to, the gadget world will most likely have one of the busiest ends of year so far. Samsung’s Galaxy S3 Mini and Apple’s iPad mini, along with the latter company’s iPhone 5, are definitely some of the most sought after items these days.
