Samsung Galaxy Note 3 to have Snapdragon 800 CPU and 13MP camera

Galaxy Note 3 has not even become available for sale and rumors already abound about its specs and whatnot. If you can’t wait to get your hands on this Samsung phablet, the most recent rumors published by ET News in South Korea talk not about its screen, but about its processor and camera.

Autumn 2013 should the season to see a release of this device. Until then, we are left with people who are saying that the Note 3 would sport a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 CPU, which is different to the octa-core Exynos Octa 5 version that was floating around some time ago.

About that camera: the phablet is rumored to have a 13-megapixel one. The features on this one seem to the following: shutter capabilities, optical stabilization and many more that should be revealed soon (among them, a rumored 3x optical zoom). Galaxy-Note-3

The optical zoom mentioned in the report is not really plausible, though, because the device is really thick and it wouldn’t be able to support it.

Apart from this recent rumors, the ones from a couple of months ago included these possible specifications for the gadget: a 5.99-inch full high definition touchscreen, TouchWiz as its user interface and 3 GB of RAM. A second camera is rumored to sit on the front of the Note 3 and it should be a 2MP version. The operating system version could very well be the new Jelly Bean one.

The Samsung Galaxy Note 3 is a phablet that might be unveiled by the manufacturer at IFA 2013. The event is going to happen in September. But truth of the matter is: we should first wait and see what Samsung will say about the device and its specifications, then get all giddy if the rumors turn out to be true. Then we will need to see an official release date of the manufacturer’s newest phablet.
