Important instructions

  1. We shall start our instructions with the first step. Get it moving by opening your laptop and placing the TWRP Recovery file to its desktop; extract the insides of the archive (which are a group of files).
  2. [sc name=”banner-jos”]Step two will need you to look for recovery.img after you’ve extracted the content of the TWRP Recovery. When you find that certain file, connect the Exhibit 4G to the comp and find the recovery.img again, because it has to be copied to the smartphone’s SD card.
  3. Step number three is around the bent and it tells you to carefully disconnect the device from the laptop; then install Terminal Emulator.
  4. The step that comes next, the fourth, is going to sound in the following fashion: open the app from the phone’s App Drawer and next enter
    cd /sdcard/
into it. It’s now the turn of step number five.
  5. According to it, you need to type in another command, which looks different:
    dd if=./recovery.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p13
When you’ve finished entering this command, you need to see if the installation of the TeamWin Recovery Project starts or not. If it doesn’t, you have to return to step number one and follow it together with the rest of the steps. If the tool starts, then you don’t need to repeat the tutorial.
  6. You should just follow the last step by typing in
    reboot recovery
and the Galaxy Exhibit 4G T679 will enter the anticipated recovery mode.
