Galaxy S4 Active and Galaxy S4 Zoom specs have been leaked

Another set of leaks has appeared for Samsung’s Galaxy S4 and Zoom smartphones. The first bunch included only the first of them and was meant to let people see how the S4 would look like as well as what type of screen and CPU it would sport. Fast forward to 9 days later, as in today, and the specifications of this phone, as well as those of the manufacturer’s Zoom model, have also been leaked for everyone to gawk at.

The 20th of June is when both these phones are expected to be unveiled. But that’s still a while away, so it was high time to see another bunch of leaks. The latter were spread online by Hi-Tech.Mail.Ru thanks to some sources. The leaks say that the Galaxy S4 Active is offering the following: a 5-inch touchscreen of a Super AMOLED HD nature, a 2,600 mAh battery, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 CPU, 16 GB of internal memory, Android 4.2, an Adreno 320 GPU, one 8MP camera on the rear and one 1.9MP cam on the front of the phone; the shooter on the back is said to come with both flash and autofocus. If you’re not at all satisfied with the initial 16 GB of storage, you can expand it to 64 GB with a microSD card.Galaxy-S4-Active

The S4 Active is backed up by NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, infrared and Bluetooth 4.0. The body of the smartphone seems to be made of metal; also, the handset should come with protection against water and dust. This model is rumored to support LTE as well.

The Galaxy S4 Zoom is said to have a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen and 540 x 960 pixels. Its leaked specs also include 8 GB of internal space storage (that can turn into 64 GB with the right memory card slot), a dual-core 1.6 GHz processor, a 1,900 mAh battery, a 1.9 MP cam on the front and a second one with 16MP on the back and Android 4.2. Connectivity is rumored to include the likes of Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and GPS. As for LTE support: this phone might be available only on third generation networks. The looks of the S4 Zoom could be the same as the S4 Mini.

Samsung are yet to say if these specs will, indeed, be on their S4 Zoom and S4 Active. We should find out on June 20.
